Yoga on the Green
Am I seeing double?! Nope! Just another opportunity to work it on the mat with the WWFM community. Join us at 9am with Shobha Saraiya (Bring your own mat).
Benefits of practicing yoga include:
Improved muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina.
Reduced stress and tension.
Boosts to self esteem.
Improved concentration and creativity.
Creating sense of well being and calm.
Shobha says,
”I teach to share the amazing benefits of yoga with others. I feel very strongly that in this confused, chaotic time we all need to be able to find balance. Yoga gives us a way to feel a sense of well-being and teaches us to access inner peace, which creates that balance. It is also a wonderful way to have a healthy, strong, flexible body, allowing us to function better in our lives. Yoga has been a great gift in my life, and it is a joyful experience to share it with others.”

Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue Awareness Event
Who doesn’t love a golden?? I personally cannot wait to have Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue at WWFM! They will be on the lawn during regular market hours, so please come by to say hi to all the good boys 🐕
Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of golden retrievers in need. The organization advocates responsible pet ownership, community education and protection of all dogs.
Freedom Ride Rescue Adoption Event
Can I interest you in another opportunity to play with dogs on the lawn at WWFM? We will be hosting Freedom Ride Rescue during regular market hours, who will be bringing plenty of pupperinos ready for adoption 🐕
Freedom Ride Rescue brings together individuals who share a love for dogs and a dream to see a no-kill state. Our foster-based network brings in dogs of all ages, sizes and breed mixes. We help to rehabilitate these animals – providing security, love, medical, and behavioral training as needed – until they can be adopted to their “fur-ever” homes.
Co-founded by Mollie Doll and Larry Hughes, the first freedom ride for our rescue was Rider, from Granville County Animal Shelter. Mollie and Larry envisioned a tiny, boutique rescue saving around 50 dogs a year on that first shelter “pull” back in August 2019. The support and incredible passion in the rescue community quickly illustrated there would be WAY more freedom ride than originally anticipated. On our third anniversary, we have saved nearly 1900 dogs (and eight cats).
