Aaron and Brittany Matyac are the creators of Arlo’s Tamales, named after their first son, born in March of this year. Making tamales was a pastime in their home, mostly preparing them for family members and friends to enjoy.
The tamales are made using a corn dough called masa that is blended with homemade chicken stock. The fillings are seasoned with vegetables from the Matyac home garden and include seasonal peppers and tomatoes.
We will be doing chicken Chile verde and red mole beef cheek varieties. Chicken will be $5 and beef $6. We are continuing to do cash only.
