Aaron and Brittany Matyac are the creators of Arlo’s Tamales, named after their first son, born in March of this year. Making tamales was a pastime in their home, mostly preparing them for family members and friends to enjoy.
The tamales are made using a corn dough called masa that is blended with homemade chicken stock. The fillings are seasoned with vegetables from the Matyac home garden and include seasonal peppers and tomatoes.
Our first tamale varieties are a chicken Chile verde or a Mole braised beef filling. Both are gluten, dairy and soy free. We will bring warm ready to eat or packaged cold tamales for your refrigerator or freezer. Tamales are $6.00 each cash only at this time.
